Hello world!

Rowan Smoot: My name is Rowan from Austin, Texas - born and raised. According to the Political Typology Quiz, I am a Solid Liberal. My political influences include my parents, my community, and the news. Aside from various protests, I have no political experience, although I plan on voting in upcoming elections. I am taking government partly because it is a required class, but also because I recently took the class in high-school and it was actually really interesting. What I'd like to gain from this class is a better understanding of how the United States government works and knowledge of what drives our political process. I got a 100% on the Civic Literacy test and 8 out of 10 correct on the Current Event Quiz.
